About me:

Where Art, Nature, and Healing Meet
Hi, I’m Ana Lucia—someone who finds peace in wild places, beauty in brushstrokes, and meaning in quiet moments.

I was raised in Colombia’s Pacific region, where rainforest and sea speak in rhythms older than memory. The scent of wet soil, the shimmer of light through palm leaves, the constant hush and roar of the ocean—these were my first lessons in presence, in awe, in healing.

Those early impressions never left me. They guided me to study Arts Administration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I came to understand art as a language that connects people. Later, at Instituto Poiesis in Barcelona, I deepened my journey into art therapy, learning how creativity can help mend what feels broken. But some of the deepest truths I’ve learned have come not in classrooms, but under trees, in silence, with paint-stained fingers and an open heart.

This blog is my offering—a space where art, nature, and gentle healing come together.
Here, I share:

  • Personal reflections on how nature and creativity have shaped my healing journey
  • Simple rituals to reconnect you with your senses, your surroundings, and your self
  • Practices and prompts to spark joy, mindfulness, and creativity—even on ordinary days

You won’t find perfection here, or prescriptions. Just a hand extended, an invitation to slow down, notice more, and maybe, remember something you didn’t know you’d forgotten.

If you’re longing for stillness, inspiration, or a sense of belonging, you’re in the right place.

Let’s walk this path together, one breath, one brushstroke, one step at a time.

With gratitude,
Ana Lucia
